Inside one of the halls of the main DWWF Headquarters in a winding hallway partially lit the camera is moving slowly, checking door after door as if in search of one certain door. After about 20 minutes the camera focuses in on a door made out of poplar wood with a black marble nameplate towards the center of the door, on this nameplate are words engraved, "President JC Cross". The door opens and the camera makes its way inside and sitting behind a black metal office desk in a black leather office chair sits the newest President in DWWF JC Cross. Mr. Cross looks up from the papers cluttered upon his desk and faces the camera.
JC: I have asked for this special inpromptu air time because of some emails and letters I have recieved since my return to the DWWF. In these emails and letters many fans have asked about my background and since I really don't have the time to answer all of them individually I thought it would be better if I just came on air and told the whole story on TV. Now be forewarned that this will take quite sometime for me to tell all of it because after all there is a lot to tell, so this will take more than this one sitting, I hope you all enjoy.
JC reaches down with his right hand to pick up a black coffee mug with a gold pentacle imprinted upon the side, he takes a drink from whatever is in the mug and replaces it back on his desk.
JC: Alright, I think it would be best to start from the beginning. It all started when I was in high school, I had excellent grades and scholarships out the ass and History was my favorite subject, I had planned on going to college and becoming a History Teacher. That is until one night after I had finished my homework I was flipping through channels on my telelvision and came across a Professional Wrestling program. Now keep in mind that at this time it had been a few years since I had watched wrestling. As I stared at the TV watching the competitive spirits at work inside the squared circle I decided that I wanted to be a Pro Wrestler. I went through all the training and then I got my big break, I was doing an Indie Promotion show in Alabama and unbeknownst to me a representative to a major Federation was there watching all the wrestlers in search for new talent to bring to his Fed. After the show the man was allowed backstage to talk with the wrestlers he was interested in. Well I had just finished my shower and got dressed when the man came into my locker room, we sat on the bench and talked for awhile, he introduced himself as Howard Rockland the Owner of Extremely Insane Pro Wrestling or EIPW for short. He said that he was real impressed by my performance in the ring and wandered if I would be interested in making some more money and getting my name out to the masses. I thought about it for a few minutes and told him YES. I was ecstatic after he left my locker room, here I was at 18 getting a shot to do something that not many if any people my age get to do.
JC: During my times with EIPW I portrayed an evil menacing character known as Brimstone, but the one thing I hated the most about the deal, which I never found out till after I had already signed the contract was that I was going to be a jobber to help put others over. Now to those who do not know what a jobber is I will explain, a jobber is simply someone in the wrestling industry that is nothing more than someone who fights in matches and loses to make the opposition look better, hence the opposition rises through the ranks and goes on to greatness. I did this for a couple of years and it really started taking its toll on me, I mean here I was just getting in the ring to lose matches for someone else to look better, it got to the point where I couldn't handle it any longer so I went to Howard in hopes he would change it around so that I could have a green light to start winning, well needless to say that didn't happen. Howard actually gave me an ultimatum, either I actually do my job and take losses or else I quit entirely. Two very strong phrases, so I decided well I really have no where else to go so why not stick it out until I get a better offer, well I did this until one day this huge wrestler was hired. He was about 6'6" tall and must have weighed close to 390 pounds, he went by The Butcher, which to be honest he just looked like another guy trying to make a name for himself at my expense. I thought that he would be someone to be friends with but I soon found out differently, as it turned out he was one of the most cockiest son of a b*t*h in wrestling that I ever met and still have not met today, he tried to run over everyone in the locker room, because of his size and pull with the owners of the company. So it went down that it was him and me scheduled for a Intercontinental Championship match and it was no DQ falls count anywhere. Well we get in the ring and the bastard comes charging at me so I sidestep him and he catches nothing but concrete on the floor after he fell through the ring ropes. That was my chance, what time he was down I jumped to the top rope and did a Guillotine Legdrop from the top rope to the floor and believe me I did it stiffly, this asshole wasn't going to run over me, I ended up breaking his nose in 3 places and cracking his jawbone. After that I grabbed a steel chair and just proceeded to beat the living hell out of him until he was literally lying in a pool of his own blood, I quickly rolled him over for the pinfall and got it, I had won my first championship in wrestling, but I was supposed to have been the one to lose, so the Boss comes out to the ring and strips me of the victory and fires me on the spot. I held the EIPW Intercontinental Championship in my hands and did the only thing that seemed logical at the time, I hit the stupid f**k right in the forehead with it, I then threw the championship on his chest and walked out, as I was leaving the building I ran into another fed owner who invited me to join his fed, but that will all have to continue next time on the next edition of BEHIND THE VEIL OF SHADOWS!!!!!
Scene fades.................
